André Saine, N.D., F.C.A.H.

André Saine is a 1982 graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He is board-certified in homeopathy (1988) by the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians and has been teaching and lecturing on homeopathy since 1985. He is considered one of the world’s foremost experts on the subject of homeopathy.

One of the main points of his clinical work is the homeopathic treatment of patients suffering from severe chronic diseases. In addition to his private practice in Montreal, Canada, he has been the Dean and main instructor for the postgraduate program of the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy, one of the foremost homeopathy schools in the world, since 1986.

In 1976, Dr. Joseph Bonyun was the first person to encourage André Saine’s study of homeopathy while he was a student at chiropractic college. He was thus introduced to Kentian homeopathy.

Afterwards, he studied with a number of teachers including Robin Murphy, Bill Gray, George Vithoulkas, Francisco Eizayaga and John Bastyr. However, Andre says that his real teachers, the ones from whom he has learned the most, were the great masters of the past. He discovered Carroll Dunham MD, P. P. Wells MD, Constantine Hering MD, and especially Adolph Lippe MD by reading the old homeopathic journals. The study of their work inspired him to review all of Hahnemann’s writings and helped him to understand them better.

André Saine is a much sought-after homeopathy teacher, holding seminars in Canada, the United States, and European countries. He is known as a homeopathic scholar based on his in-depth studies of the work of the great masters of the past and based on his practice of pure Hahnemannian homeopathy.

A highly acclaimed 500-hour course on homeopathic chronic prescribing for professionals, taught by André Saine, is available on DVD through the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy. Other exceptional titles include Homeopathy in Surgery and First Aid, Homeopathy and Atopic Disease, Homeopathic Prophylaxis, Resolving Difficult Cases, and Cancer, among others.

Two books of his teachings from transcripts of homeopathy seminars given in the early 1990s in Holland have also been published: Psychiatric Patients I (1997), and The Method, Lectures on Pure Homeopathy II (2000).

Even though André Saine did not edit transcripts of these seminars, his students have commented that besides occasional errors, the books were quite faithful to André Saine’s teachings.

André Saine has also been busy for many years editing the voluminous work of Dr. Adolph Lippe MD. His much-anticipated book entitled Lessons in Pure Homeopathy, From the Writings of Hahnemann’s Best Student and Medicine’s Most Successful Practitioner, Adolph Lippe, M.D. is expected very soon.
